This pre-war apartment in Park Slope, Brooklyn, was partially renovated to update the two bathrooms functionally and aesthetically to the Owners’ needs, and add new cabinetry. The design relies on natural materials to complement the original aesthetic of the apartment while contemporary details and fixtures are juxtaposed with the traditional details. The marble tile in the Guest/Kids Bathroom was meticulously laid out by the tile mason and coordinated with the marble slabs around the tub. The stone tiles in the Master Bathroom and the wood vanity bring the warmth of the mahogany moldings into the modern bathroom.
