The L!brary Initiative was a public-private partnership between NYC Department of Education and Robin Hood Foundation. A group of architects were invited to donate their design services for the renovation of public school libraries throughout New YorkCity, particularly in underserved neighborhoods. For the five projects that rockwellgroup was the design leader, the main challenge was to achieve the goals within the limited budget while creatinga unique identity for each school.
