Architecture Durusoy [DRSY] is a design practice, based in New York City, that focuses on the betterment of the built environment and by extension the experience of living.  To this end we rely on the strength of the collaboration between client, architect and builder to navigate the complicated process of a design and construction project from start to finish. A sound understanding of how things go together strengthens us as designers and empowers us to experiment.

Cemre Durusoy established DRSY in 2012 after more than a decade of practicing in New York City. During her tenure at the Brooklyn design/build firm MADE, she formed many lasting relationships with builders, fabricators and other designers, with whom she frequently collaborates. Before joining MADE she was a designer at Rockwell Group and worked on such projects as the Library !nitiative with the Robin Hood Foundation, Chambers Hotel Minneapolis, Rosa Mexicana restaurant and a prototype store for a new Gap brand.

A native of Istanbul, Turkey, Cemre holds a Bachelor of Arts from Bennington College where she studied theater design and architecture, and a Master of Architecture degree from Rice University. She is a registered architect in New York State.
