Architecture Durusoy [DRSY] is a design practice, based in New York City, that focuses on the betterment of the built environment and by extension the experience of living. To this end we rely on the strength of the collaboration between client, architect and builder to navigate the complicated process of a design and construction project from start to finish. A sound understanding of how things go together strengthens us as designers and empowers us to experiment.
Cemre Durusoy established DRSY in 2012 after more than a decade of practicing in New York City. In 2016 she partnered with landscape architect Balca Keskin to start OFFICEFORTYONE weaving architecture and landscape design into unique projects.
A native of Istanbul, Turkey, Cemre holds a Bachelor of Arts from Bennington College where she studied theater design and architecture, and a Master of Architecture degree from Rice University. She is a registered architect in New York State.
